ACNE STUDIOS DEBUT FIRST FULL EYEWEAR COLLECTION

Acne Studios recently introduced their first sunglasses collection, focusing on colour and shape for frames and lenses. The seven styles are available in 29 Acne Studios stores worldwide, and also on acnestudios.com. “

We᠆ve always made eyewear pieces, but never before a full collection. I wanted to introduce new styles, and refine our previous designs, to create Acne Studios Eyewear. For this first collection, I᠆ve drawn on my role models in music as inspiration and reference – it᠆s up to the customer to guess who.” – Jonny Johansson, Creative Director.

A few of my favorite things

I thought I would show you guys some of my favorite things from my wardrobe, and I kinda have a thing for the Sound of music, so I thought the title would be a good fit, as well. As you can see, I’m a big fan of blue! I just collected some things, and it basically just ended up being a blue palette. The silver pin is my grandfathers from Canada, the perfectly slim gloves and shirt is from one of my favorite brands; Matinique, the sunglasses are my basic black aviators + my really eccentric Rihanna style sunnies that I usually just use as interior, my Alexander McQueen scarf and my Jenny humphrey from Gossip Girl style necktie, which is totally amazing. You can check out my instagram here, for more updates, AidenCWolf!

Chapter one, page one.

Hola! Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce myself. My name is Aiden Wolf, and I am the creator of The Style Protégé! An online "magazine" that features my inner thoughts and cravings towards fashion and style. Ugh.. Let's just call it what it is, shall we? A blog, a diary, a journal. A journal with pictures, that is.

I could ramble on like this for hours, writing away about what made me want to create this blog and what I want to do with it, but let's get deep. Really deep. Or not, let's just talk about fashion, like the addicts we are. For we are addicts, in every aspect. We love it, we crave it. We want it. And we want it now. Like the title says, I am a style protégé, a beginner. A newbie of sorts. But as I learn, you will learn. So let's take this acid trip together and see it all, let the fashion show begin!

and details. We love it all.

But let's be honest. The best inspiration out there is the street style from bloggers, people from the industry, celebs (Not that often) and the brave few who loves to dare and try new things without the fear of being judged by the general public. Fashion, and more importantly style is about expressing oneself in a unique way. Sure, trends are for the masses, but it's all about how you use it. Find a new way, at least a way you've never seen before. If someone is doing the same thing on the other side of the world, who the bleep cares.
